You have no idea how lame today was

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Bad news. Today blew.

First, it rained. I mean, have we not had enough yet?? And yesterday just had to be this perfect fall day with our modeling careers launched and everything and then...blech. Today happened. At least I still have my looks.

OK, so Neenee realized early on that Patrick forgot some key important reading thing. That meant we headed out for an adventure pretty early. To Elliott and Patrick's school! How could this turn lame?

Dames bit it on the sidewalk out front. And THAT meant Neenee put ME down, which didn't make a lot of sense to me either. But he recovered, got a Bandaid and pulled himself together so that I could get a lift! Yeesh.

Oh, look. A flag. (Lame.)

Then, Neenee had to mail a package, so we went to--say it with me now and really drum up your fake enthusiasm--the United States Post Office!

Me and Dames were like, "Wow. Mailboxes? And they open. Ya don't say. Fascinating." (Lame.)

But! They did have this display thing that spun around, so that was mildly amusing. I also killed time by pushing my head in between Neenee's kneecaps (say that 10 times fast) and yelling, "boo!"

I find this form of peekaboo is best played in public, and on that, I think we can all agree.

Anyway, by that point, there was really no escaping this lame rain business, so we just threw in the adventure towel and went back to the house. But there, it's lame that Dames is bigger than me and can do stuff like turn on the piano.

'Cause I obviously wanted to do a solo performance.

But before I knew it, it was lunch time. I saw what you packed, but guess what! It was lame. Plus, I looked at Dames, and I knew I HAD to have a peanut butter sandwich instead!

But know what's extra funny? I didn't really want that either. Lunch=lame!
