Oh hey, Mom.
It's me, Brynn.
We read lots of books this morning. I was totally cool with that and sometimes said, "'gain" so Neenee would announce the end, only to immediately start reading the same book again.
But guess what I was NOT cool with. THIS--
Mr. Braggy Pants had PJs that matched his book. So, I had the only reasonable, I'm-so-impressed response: I tried to knock the book out of his hands. I mean, HELLO? Have you SEEN my socks and sweatshirt today??! Yeah.
Anyway, when we wrapped up our book party, Neenee was all giddy. Know why? She's getting walls tomorrow! (Weirdo.) It's as if she's been dealing with a roof leak and its aftermath for months... Oh. Right. OK, giddiness makes more sense now.
To help her cope (and to purchase materials for the contractor), we went to the craziest place.
Me and Dames were like, "Where ARE we???!?!???"
Yup. Sure. Lowe's. But we have fun pretending crazy stuff and like we're in imminent danger in a construction zone. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! (Fake screaming is FUN lately!)
Then, back at the house, we readied ourselves for lunch. I insisted on a fork. (As least, Neenee was *pretty sure* that's what I was insisting...) Anyway, you know why I needed a fork.
I knew it would match my plate, obviously. It also brings out the chartreuse on my sippy cup. :D
