Reflections

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Today, I was going to lead with this whole guess-where-we-were shtick, but since you sniffed me out almost immediately, I don't think it'd be very fun for any of us. So... Ta-da!

With my whole hook blown, I guess I'll just dive in like it's any normal day. Here goes--

This morning, I brought Cheerios, and then Dames wanted Multigrain Cheerios, so I made it clear to Neenee that I could no longer be subjected to my plain Cheerios. She gave both of us the new kind, but guess what I did! I fed 'em to Riley instead! 'Cause I didn't really want that kind either.

Then, when Neenee didn't like that game, guess what me and Dames did! We only wanted to eat her super-fancy, healthy-shmealthy grown-up cereal! (File this under Things I'll Never Eat Again If You or Neenee Offer It, but today it was our super-duper-favorite. I like to keep you tall people guessing!)

So, ya know how Neenee's house is fallin' down 'n' stuff? Well, we (except Riley!) were pretty chill while the roofers were working, and I remembered that Dames can be fun WHEN he listens to me and realizes we have toys at our disposal other than that stinkin' train set!!!

Plus, I have him really well trained with the whole brushing thing. Sometimes, I get this flash of satisfaction, knowing I'm making a difference and really getting through to the big lug.

Anyway, like Neenee told you at school, we had to tour the banks today because of the home owners' insurance claim. We really had no interest in that, though, so we busied ourselves with a delicacy known as DumDums.

Back at the nearly condemned house, I had some time to get quiet.

This is a new face I'm trying out. I call it "Pensive." Does it make me look smart?

Anyway, I'm doing all this modeling and quiet reflection because guess why. I've been coming to visit Neenee and Dames now for more than a month! :O Time flies...

And guess what else. Even though I miss you and Dad and Jack every day, I think we made a good choice. (I'll even keep that waffle-obsessed thug-life kid back there, too!)
