I've decided on a career

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Sorry I skipped yesterday. I realize it makes no sense whatsoever, but Neenee says she was busy with the Roto-Rooter guy. But obviously, I'M the one writing these blog posts, so I'm not sure why it's even relevant that Neenee had water-in-the-basement issues.

Anyway, a couple of things from yesterday. First of all, raspberries. Have you heard of them? They're AMAZING.

After I decided what I thought about them, I was like this: "GET OUT THE WAY, DAMES." (I was even eating my roll, but I just held that hand out of the way for a few minutes.)

On the other hand, Mother, I'd like to speak to you about clementines. I had to feed every. single. section. of that thing to Dames. Lucky thing he's a disposal and also that Neenee had a fruit cup, too.

Also, what was my lunch yesterday? I already forget. But Neenee thought because I didn't seem to thrilled with it, maybe I'd enjoy black beans. I was like, "Hmmmm. That's an interesting proposition, and while I appreciate the originality of your suggestion, I'm going to mash them into the seat beneath me so you don't find out how I really feel until I get down."

So, today we started fresh, and when Neenee said we should try to take a photo of the three of us, I said, "Gimmee that. I got this. Everybody! Get behind me!"

Then, I thought, "I want this to be really good. Let me try out some faces."

I even backed up a little, so you can totally see all of us.

I'll be honest. I've had a lot of practice. I mean, yes, it's a natural talent, but I've really been working to hone my craft.

Let's see... Outside of my budding career... Oh! Me and Dames practiced some ABCs.

And also, we invented a death-defying game where you jump off the last stair into a pit of doom (the rug six inches below). As you probably can guess, Dames was a maniac.

I, on the other hand, am far more refined and also pretty scared of this game, so I sat on the step and then made the jump from there.

So, I'm just saying, IF (and that's a big if) photography doesn't pan out, I'm prolly gonna be a stunt woman. I wanted to prepare you now. (And I decided "firefighter" isn't even in my top 10.)

Anyway, it must've been something about our game that made Neenee say it was time to go! (Weirdo.)

We met a nice doggy...

...and then I got hot so I snapped my fingers. Dames said he couldn't feed me grapes AND pull the wagon, so I just let him focus on one job at a time.

I *thought* it was rather generous of me, but at some point, he was--I don't even know! Is THIS playing hard to get, Mom?

Anyway, who needs him? 'Cause I found dandylions. Neenee said we didn't have to pick all of them, and while I thought about that possibility, I shot her one of these looks.

Sometimes I think she forgets who's really in charge here.
