I've met someone

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Know what I'm doing when I skip a post? It's like supply and demand. I'm just ramping up your excitement and appreciation for the boundless creativity contained in this here blog. Were you getting that? Aren't I crafty?

Anyway, today's adventure involved Dames wanting to hold my hand. I was like, "seriously?" but the dude had a death grip on my fingers. And of course, Neenee thought it was adorable, so she did nothing to help me.

So, we get inside, and I realize: it's a bookstore! Then, lo and behold, there's a dumb old set of trains HERE. Is there no place sacred and train-free anymore??

So, I went like this, "Oh. Isn't this interesting? This train's goin' alo-- Oh no! He fell off the track! The end."

That freed me up to find a WHOLE SHELF of pink things! Ahhhh, finally. My people!

I realized I didn't really need Dames, so I picked up a trusty Cookie Monster (strangely named "Elmo" in my world), and went off to pursue loftier, academic interests.

Oh, and they had a coloring table that I enjoyed minimally until I fell to my death (AT LEAST eight inches) off those poorly designed benches.

Anyway, I regrouped and briefly considered a career on the stage.

But the lighting was so amateurish and not at all good for my ruffles. So, I read by osmosis for a bit.

And then I reviewed some shapes.

But then I looked back at Dames (who hardly flippin' noticed there was anything BUT trains the entire time), and guess what happened, Mom! There was A BOY. A new boy was just THERE! And I kinda liked him. I just smiled at him. Like, more than once, Mom! I don't think he noticed me--remember the train-obsessed lug head I hang out with every day??--but this guy was different.

So, I embraced the whole "when in Rome" philosophy. I think my attention to trains really made the difference. Let me know when he calls!
