Oh hey, Mom.
It's me, Brynn.
I'm fighting my nap pretty ferociously right now, so I'll make this post quick. :/
Today, since James was all better and since it'd been a while, Whitney got us all bundled and said we were going to the toy store! Hooray!
Uhhh, do you see why Whitney likes me better? I'm always listening and helping and trying to be independent (even if it means I occasionally slip my boots on the wrong feet). James is all, "I'll sit here and eat until you can do everything for me." Tsk, tsk.)
But guess what. They were closed for a power outage. (James was ti-icked! He was all, "TOY! STORY!" and did not really want to talk about what it means when there's no electricity.)
So, we rolled down the road to Costco. No power! (I think Whitney started hyperventilating.)
We tried Barnes and Noble. Closed! Holy moly, all of Polaris, including the mall, we think, was shut down. Cops were directing traffic at all the big intersections, so something BIG must've happened.
We most certainly didn't want to go back to the house, so we went to... ta-da! Kroger!
We had our Larabars and then--what's this?!--Hello Kitty celebrates Valentine's Day?! How many should we buy?!???
We made the most of our lame adventure, and when I put all my stickers on my pants, I announced, "All done!"
Did I mention that bar was good, too? ;)
