Recappin'

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Yipes, regular blogging has gotten hard! Between snow days and sick days and no-nap days, it's been tough to find the time! But I'll try to catch up a bit today.

First up, a confession. I mean, before you see it on my Instagram 'n' stuff. I call it, "Really happy in bed with James"--

Phew. I feel better having shown you that one. It was from days ago!

Now, yesterday. James and I studied money! We were LOVING feeding coins into the cash register because it senses how big it is and tells you which one it is.

So fun! We did this for ages. Basically until James put the money drawer on top of the ottoman. And then knocked it off. Oopsie!

But as you well know, yesterday was Daddy Pick Up day, so I looked at Whitney like THIS. A lot. I was sleepy, ya know? But how can I sleep when I know Daddy could show up at any moment?! Grump. Tough day!

But today's a new day! And I'm napping! :D

James, on the other hand, went through a significant portion of the morning refusing to wear pants. What. the. heck. is wrong with two-year-olds, Mom? I am never turning two!

Anyway, while Whitney was trying to negotiate with James, I realized my chance to jump on the couch without intervention! But Whitney caught on and told me "no jumping." Do you know this face, Mom? It's my "I-wasn't-doing-anythi---ohhhhhhh-did-you-see-that?" face. Aren't I lucky I'm so adorable??

At any rate, I got down, and James got dressed, so we reunited and dove deep into the toy chest. That's where all the good stuff is anyway!

Oh! Remember when we had an orange stand-off before?? No problem today!

Oooooh, and then we went Krogering! We got all bundled and into our car and were very serious drivers. Until, of course, Whitney gave us each a Larabar. That filled us with energy, so we had to bust outta that tiny, yellow car and run freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (Photos unavailable because Whitney was trying to not get kicked out of Kroger.)

Last thing. Remember the bunnies from this morning, Mom? We had them all day today! When Whitney asked us to sit with our bunnies so we could take a group photo, I repeatedly decided that my bunny should be under my lap. Whitney took six or so photos that all basically looked like this--

Just because I sleep doesn't mean I have to make sense. :P
