Oh hey, Mom.
It's me, Brynn.
Where do we keep my driver's license?
Learner's permit??
Fake I.D. for cruising around the neighborhood??
Do I get it for my next birthday??!
I'll tell ya why I ask. It's 'cause, with power restored, we went back to Toys R Us today. And this time, we went INSIDE. And guess what! They have cars. Lots of cars. Glorious, powerful, independence-offering cars!
We took (all of) them for a spin!
I saw this beauty first and got right on in.
Then James was all, "I can do that! Let me pick the lamest looking one ever!"
We realized the vehicles continued to a whole new aisle, so we ran over there. NO JOKE, Mom: James picked THIS one. He was yelling, "Brynn! It's Frozen! Brynn!" All I could do was mutter, "Please don't use my name. I might know someone here" and put my head down.
Then I hid in this inconspicuous Caddy.
We even went test driving together! See me getting something out of the glove box and adjusting the vents? But seriously. What kid dreams of driving a Kia?! Neat idea, toy manufacturers. You really got your fingers on the pulse of kids these days!
Haha, James found this one and seriously asked, "Is this Daddy's truck?" (Tell Pete no offense, kay?)
Luckily, James knew what was good for him and let me drive this puppy. Isn't she pretty?!?
Ahhhh, we had so much fun, Mom! Test driving was awesome! I just can't wait to get one of these on the open road! To feel the wind in my pigtails! Freeeeeeee-dom!
Oh, and if you're curious, we decided on coordinating Range Rovers. (I think they give us a lease deal if we get two.)
