Oh hey, Mom.
It's me, Brynn.
Ooooooh, we had like a 99% triumphant day today!
First, we started with double applesauce.
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking I say "double applesauce" because we both had one. Yes, but no. I mean, we both had the squeezy applesauce AND THEN the spoon applesauce. (We insisted and begged!)
Then, after my 76th mouthful of applesauce, I shoved that cup right back to Whitney and said, "don't like it!" I mean, DUH. Take a hint, lady.
Anyway, it was beautiful all. day. long. today! So, we went right outside and guess what! We found two things we could both ride! Wahooooooo!
Then, in the backyard, I let James give me a brief lesson on the Digger. (He was thrilled to oblige.) Look at me go*, Mommy!
*this whole situation was a fabulous triumph until I realized it was dirt. And then my shoes were dirty on the bottom. Obviously, that was wildly upsetting.
But then I thought, "Wait a minute! I heard Mommy tell Whitney I could do the whole climbing wall!" And ya know what... I can totally do it here, too!!
Whitney hooted and hollered and then waited until she could see my face. Turns out I was pretty proud, too.
But even with all of these successes outside, guess what dumb thing Whitney thought was really awesome. I'll tell you. See, Pete has a towel bar he needs to rehang, but me and James thought, "We can build this!" We grabbed all the pieces and worked together to assemble them on the floor--all by ourselves. We're like engineers, Mommy!
Teamwork triumph! And then, we had this awesome thing to take turns jumping over, and it was
fu-uuunnnn! :D Hooray for a great day!
