Preschool tests

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Whitney's been working on this assessment thingy to see if James is ready for preschool. (She showed it to Daddy yesterday, but it includes things like fine and gross motor skills, communication, behavior, etc.) Anyway, for the last couple of days, we've been working on it. And I'll tell ya what! Most of the time, you might not know I'm two! I'm gonna knock preschool outta the park, Mommy!!

One of the activities asked Whitney to line up four things and then mess them all up to see if we could duplicate the line. E-Z.

We did some drawing activities, like trying to duplicate Whitney's lines and circles. We also did one where we had to draw a picture and then talk to Whitney about what we drew. OK, those were tough. But! One was trying to use safety scissors, and I DID IT! (Might need to practice a bit more..., but I made some cuts!)

Stringing Cheerios?!? Alright, Mr. I'm-Almost-Three-Show-off! I got a bit frustrated...

But then... zippity-do! Success!

I'm not even sure why Couch Sliding wasn't one of the activities because we kinda rock at that.

Oh, and I'm not even making this up, Mommy. One of the questions asked if the child will move a chair or box to stand on in order to reach something (like preschool problem solving). Then BOOM. With no prompting at all, I just came up with this! Not gonna lie. I was pretty proud of this ingenuity. I needed the vegetables!
