I haven't blogged in a year or two. Yeesh! What a week!

 

Today we went to the library. The funny part is that by the time we settled down to read every book James and I could pick out, Whitney's phone was dead. So! You have to take my word for it that we graduated to a studious field trip. These snaps'll just look like we PLAYED the whole time.

 

They have this big doll house, and I was like, "gimme that guy. I know where he goes. Sliiiiiiiiide!"

 

Ooh, and they have this button, Mom! It makes cricket noises or something! And you can push it as many times as you want! And Whitney wonders how the librarians have blocked out such an obnoxious, nonstop sound.

 

'Cause THAT face is gonna inspire kids to read...

 

Oh, but wait a jig. I forgot to tell you something! We got new light-up toothbrushes! (Whitney swears the laser is not damaging my vision. Do we believe her?)

 

And guess what else! THIS thing (a tall parking garage with lots of ramps) occupied me and James for way too long today. Weird, right??

 

Remember the other day, though? We went to the mall play place that's got the big fake tree and lots of fake grass. But there was just one problem: Other kids. No one actually invited them, but they went ahead and showed up anyway. James accepted it, but I didn't really see a need to interact with them. So! I made my own fun on a bench! I'm a genius, right?? Unbelievably, James was unimpressed with my game.

 

He's still a bigger daredevil than me.

 

So then we ran down the hallway to the big water fountain.

 

I know, Mom. I don't understand what's wrong with him either. Try not to look directly into his eyes.

 

Oooh, we found a new toy store! I was supergood at this thing!

 

And I also need two of these.
