Civic duties 'n' stuff

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

You wouldn't believe how dumb Neenee is.

Or maybe you would...

At any rate, she was all can-do attitude today. Elliott and Patrick home from school? No problem! Four kids, and things to do? Let's go!

First up, flu shots.

Bwahahahaha!

The whole this-will-only-take-a-minute took about an hour. So, we killed time in CVS.

I was able to make myself right at home. For some reason, Neenee didn't enjoy this game.

So, we moved onto greeting cards. Singing cards and those featuring babies were our faves.

Then, in a similar fashion to my toy aisle approach, I started taking out all cards with babies. (Why doesn't Neenee like any of the games I invent??)

Finally, we got called in for Neenee, Elliott, Patrick and James to get shots. OBVIOUSLY, it was most traumatic for me. I cried the entire time. Even while I was making Neenee hold me with one arm while she got her shot in the other arm. I cried for her. Until I got a magic bandaid. For nothing. (You're following all of this, right, Mom?)

At least I got a celebratory piece of candy! (Remember the trauma of being near others who got a shot?? It was still pretty raw.)

Then, with four helpful attitudes, Neenee decided to plow through the polls, too!

She smiles here because she's crazy and felt like some kind of superhero for actually emerging from TWO ERRANDS with five people still living, breathing and kicking. ('Member when I told you how dumb she is??)
