Touch a Truck

Oh hey, Mom.

It's me, Brynn.

Later, when you're doing laundry and cursing Whitney for my stained sweatshirt, please know that she tried to help me, but I was in a trance and very much enjoying my spinach/fruit ice cream today!

And then guess what we did! Touch a Truck! And I was almost completely overwhelmed. :/

We saw a school bus and then got to get on and find a seat! We were thrilled...until I turned to Whitney and quietly said, "don't like it." (Turns out they're better from a distance.)

Then, we got to sit in a sheriff's cruiser! I made my best "Why You Arrest Me?" face.

There was SO much to see, Mommy! There were diggers and trucks with the big buckets and motorcycles--we even sat on one together!--but THIS. James was fascinated with THIS. It's a plumber's truck, Mommy. Even the plumber was surprised, like, "oh, seriously? You're interested?" And James was all, "uh-huh and where do you keep the elbow joints?" (He's so embarrassing sometimes.)

Then, the train.

Oh, this train! It was the coolest, and we'd see it from wherever we were, but the line was always a mile long. James and I suggested we simply cut in line because we definitely wanted to do it way more than all those other shmucks in line, but Whitney said, "no." I gave her a face to let her know what I thought of her noble advice.

Haha! THIS is what made me smile! A tree-trimming truck that I could drive and fake honk the horn!

And THIS helped my mood a bit, too. See James checkin' on me? I was all, "Keep it movin', big boy. I'm coming!" (Just LOOK at my calves!!)

On the way back to Whitney's van, we spotted this very pretty planter, and I was like, "Touch a Truck, Smouch a Truck! How about Touch a FLOWER?!"
