Oh hey, Mom.
It's me, Brynn.
Whitney says this month is crazy, as she starts her new job, and ev-e-ry-thing (including Pat-tick and James' birthdays) happens at the same time. Again, should have no real bearing on my blogging ability, but I felt compelled to include that information.
Anyway, with Pat-tick turning 8 this weekend, Whitney's been on the hunt to find some book. You know we frequent the library and Barnes & Noble, but this time, we tried a NEW B&N! And then, me and James went crazy because:
1. There were no trains. (How do you even call yourself a bookstore?!) and
2. There was no escalator. (I mean, WHY did we even GO there?!??)
However, they did have a little stage in the kid area, so we, uhhhh, performed--
Phew! We were ka-ka-ka-crazy! But, ya know, in a totally respectful way, like we were in a library jungle gym shouting room or something.
Just LOOK at my hair afterward! You can totally tell we were sitting still and reading!
Oh, and know how I cry and yell at you, Mommy, when you try to help me with my carseat straps?? Well, well. I decided it was time Whitney graduated to the same treatment! (If she helps me a little, I will most definitely undo whatever she just did, so there's no doubt that I DO IT!!)
Oh, nearly forgot this. Whitney thought you're prolly missing all the Thomas play. Don't you worry. The King of the Railway still reigns supreme!
And this one. I *could* include this shot from our shopping trip the other day as evidence of my winning leg contests wherever I roam. But! This time, I'm illustrating how much James actually LIKES to go potty every single place we go. (He also likes to rattle off all the public potties he's used with pride. What's the matter with that wacko?) On this particular Costco trip, he said he had to go as soon as we got there AND as we were checking out. Buuuuuut, the potty is right by the cars, and I think he really just wanted to look at the Fix-it Shop. (Whitney loves this game.)
